John Uskglass is one of my two fav characters from Susanna Clarke's novel-JS & MN(or I should say he interests me the most); the other one is Childermass.
With a black feather holding by his hand, the nameless slave from Northern England has been described as a young, pale and powerful magician who gave a typical vision in charged of ravens; for these imaginations characterized by the the author, I tried to paint the legendary king with darker, heavier colours to represent this shadowy and mysterious ruler of magical era...(not sure if I make it or not)

This one is the first pic of JS & MN series portraits, I hope I can depict diffrent works of The Raven King(from other short stories) and more characters who I'm fond of in the novel.

My god, this is PERFECT. I... I'm speechless. It's really him!

Wow. Details. A larger view size might be nice?

Also... Childermass is amazing, but the Gentleman with the Thistle-Down Hair is my personal favorite... well, except for the King in the North...

Amazing, amazing, amazing.

99.9% of the world's teenagers would die if Abercrombie&Fitch said it was uncool to breath. Put this in your signature if you'd be one of the incredibly minuscule percent who'd look up from 'The Picture of Dorian Gray' and say, 'What?'
